The “Development and Prosperity for All – KOSINT 2020” project team organized the conference on “Protection of the Rights of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian Communities”.
The conference discussed the legal framework, mechanisms and institutions protecting human rights, and punitive provisions in case of violation of rights in the following sectors: Education, Employment, Housing and Social Welfare.
Participants in this conference were representatives of the Office of Good Governance, Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, Employment Agency of the Republic of Kosovo, representatives of various municipal departments from Municipal Education Directorate, Municipal Office for Communities and Returns, Center for Social Work, the Ombudsperson’s Office, and representatives of local and international civil society.
