Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking

RWCT is a Program for training teachers, according to the 'train the trainer' model, and is directly applied in the classroom, in all grades and subjects within existing curricula. mė shumė

   

Step by Step

The Step by Step Program is a child centered methodology created in 1994 by  The Network of the SOROS Foundation and Children's Resources International, which has been implemented in many countries in transition. In Kosova, the Step by Step Program started in 1997.mė shumė

   
Education Participation Improvement Project

This project objectives are improving access and education attainment in primary and secondary education (including attendance, retention and completion), and enhancing access of vulnerable groups (girls, minorities, children from poor families, rural areas, etc.) to education in Kosovo.mė shumė

   
Child Rights Education

The goal of this project is to advance the children rights in the compulsory education of Kosovo, by means of building local capacities and ensuring constant improvement and strengthening of the children rights. mė shumė

   

Governance and Leadership in Education

Main goal of implementing this project is building local capacities in the field of governance and leadership of educational institutions in a close cooperation with KEDP and MEST. mė shumė

   

Education against Corruption

The program "Education against corruption" is the initiative of the Open Society Institute in New York and of the International Consortium of the Program "Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking- RWCT".  mė shumė

   

KEC training programs

KEC is implementing over 20 training programs. They include specific training programs for modern teaching and evaluation methodologies (training programs for efficient leadership in education, planning, children rights, etc.), as well as modification of internationally standing programs such as: Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking and Step by Step.mė shumė

   

KEC Library

KEC has established within its premises a Library with around 1200 books and equipped with computers, which can also be used as a reading room for the teachers participating in trainings and for the teachers of public schools in the country. "Third Millennium" School

The "Third Millennium" school is a non-public elementary and lower secondary school (classes from 1-9), established by the Kosovo Education Centre (KEC). The school has been licensed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.mė shumė
